Here is the official poster of an imaginary congress of poetic sciences … The main topic of this year would be synesthesia, which is a neurologically based phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to automatic, involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway. Found Sound: The result of an ISTD project. An open brief to see what could be done with the idea of ‘3 minutes’. I looked at the sounds resulting in compressing a persons day from 12 hours of sound into 3 minutes, the exhibition held for the pieces asked people to comment, and the poster is using the same techniques to compress the sound as I did with people comments.

Screen print onto 4 wooden panels, examining the differences in opinions of workers’ unions. Based on a series of interviews with union and non-union members held during December ‘08.

D&AD Faber Film book covers

The brief was to design a set of print on demand (POD) book covers for faber film. I used AV symbols to catagorise the different titles. E.g the film history titles would be catagorised by the re-wind button and the screenplay titles would be catagorised by the play button.

Tesco Value re-brand

A self initiated project to re-brand and re-package tesco value. The concept i went for was to show exactly how much more you get for your money with the brand. I used coloured bands to reperesent the food inside. The oversized percentages are there to grab the attention of money savvy shoppers.
